2023 Year-End Banquet

January 27th - Year-End Banquet!

Join us at Oxford Suites in Boise on January 27th to celebrate another awesome show year with Gem State! We’ll be honoring our year-end award winners, recognizing our sponsors, and having a great evening out with our members.

Don’t forget that our Year-End Champions that are present at the banquet* will be entered to win a beautiful Jeff Smith saddle!

Did you know? There’s a board meeting right before the meeting! Feel free to join us and let us know your ideas for the year ahead. We’re also looking for a few more board members…shoot us an email if you’re interested!

*all Year-End champions who have not previously won a saddle in the event they won this year will be entered to win. Must be present at the banquet to win. The saddle is finished and will be available to take home from the banquet!

Open Board Member Positions

We’re looking for a few more board members! We’re a pretty laid back board with monthly meetings that generally take about an hour. It doesn’t matter if you’re new to the sport–we just need enthusiastic people!

We’re particularly looking for people who:

  • Have fundraising experience or extroverted personalities that can help expand our sponsorship program
  • Are interested in helping plan and implement clinics, paid reinings, youth events, and other offerings outside our normal shows (we’ve got tons of ideas, just need some support making them happen!)
  • Are interested in stepping in on social media and communications with support from our Marketing Director
